| Faith In God and love of Country...once were taught in the home...and in school. Now, too often, they're taught in neither. How many homes fly Old Glory regularly? How many of us demonstrate to our kids and grandkids the importance of loving their country? Do we ever discuss how blessed we are to live in the United States with our children and grandchildren? Is the Pledge of Allegiance recited in schools anymore? Do schools still teach kids through songs like America the Beautiful or My Country Tis of Thee? How many of us attend worship regularly demonstrating to our kids and grandkids the importance of reverence for God? Churches are closing, families are falling apart and our nation is dying from drugs, crime, greed, selfishness and numerous other ills. Is there a connection? You bet there is! | |||||||||||||||||||
